Hi, my name is Debbie Sigouin and I live in Langley B.C. Canada with my husband, son, and three dogs (one which is named Teddybear).
I started collecting teddy bears about 6 years ago, and have acquired quite a "hug" in the past years (my current collection is about 100 bears!!). I've always loved doing crafts from a very early age, so about 4 years ago I thought I would try to make a teddy bear of my own. Once I completed him I was hooked, and just couldn't stop creating more! I started to sell my teddy bears about 3 years ago in a little craft marketplace, where my bears sold very well and I acquired quite a clientele.
I wanted to expand my little "bear" business, so I started attending Teddy Bear Shows. To date I have attended "The Bear Fair" in Calgary in October; "Teddy Bears Christmas Market" in North Vancouver in November; and "The Traveling Teddy Bear Show" in March in White Rock. I also plan to attend "Teddy Bears on Vacation" this coming September in Burnaby. All of my bears are made out of German or English mohair and most are "one of a kind".
